Terms of use
These terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Glolink Education (the “Company”) and users in relation to the Cambridge English and Linguaskill exam registration and related services provided through Korea Cambridge Assessment Centre (cambridgeassessment.co.kr, the “Site”).
Article 1 (Purpose)
These terms set out the conditions and procedures for using all services the Company provides through the Site—exam registration, score lookup, information provision, and more (the “Services”)—and the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Company and members.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- “Services” means all services the Company provides through the Site, such as exam registration, score lookup, and information provision.
- “User” means a member or non-member who accesses the Site and uses the Services under these terms.
- “Member” means a person who provides personal data to the Company, registers as a member, and uses the Services.
- “Candidate” means a person who registers for and sits an exam through the Company.
- Terms not defined here follow relevant laws and commercial practice.
Article 3 (Publication and amendment of the terms)
- The Company posts these terms on the Site so that users can easily review them.
- The Company may amend these terms within a scope that does not violate relevant laws such as the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions and the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.
- When amending the terms, the Company announces the amended content and effective date on the Site at least 7 days in advance (30 days for amendments unfavourable or material to users).
- If a user does not expressly object by the effective date of the amended terms, the user is deemed to have agreed to the amendment.
Article 4 (Provision and change of Services)
- The Company provides exam registration and attendance support, score lookup, exam-related information and materials, and other services it determines.
- The Company may change the content of the Services as operationally or technically necessary, in which case it announces the change and its reason on the Site.
Article 5 (Suspension of Services)
- The Company may temporarily suspend the Services for unavoidable reasons such as system inspection, maintenance, replacement, or communication failure.
- The Company is not liable where it cannot provide the Services due to reasons beyond its control, such as force majeure, national emergency, or power failure.
Article 6 (Formation of the contract and membership registration)
- The use contract is formed when a user agrees to these terms and the privacy policy, applies for membership, and the Company accepts the application.
- On registration, users must accurately enter the information required for exam registration (name, English name, date of birth, contact, etc.).
- The Company may refuse acceptance or later terminate the contract for applications using another person's identity, containing false information, or made to harm relevant laws, public order, or good morals.
Article 7 (Withdrawal and loss of membership)
- Members may withdraw at any time through the in-service procedure or by request to the Company.
- If a member violates these terms or relevant laws, the Company may, after prior notice, restrict, suspend, or revoke membership.
Article 8 (Members' obligations)
- Members must accurately provide the information required for exam registration and attendance and update it without delay when it changes.
- Members may not transfer or lend their account information to third parties, and are responsible for damage arising from negligent management.
- Members must comply with the exam rules and must not engage in cheating.
Article 9 (The Company's obligations)
- The Company complies with relevant laws and these terms and endeavours to provide the Services stably and continuously.
- The Company protects users' personal data in accordance with its privacy policy.
Article 10 (Exam registration and attendance)
- Candidates register for exams following the procedure the Company provides; registration is confirmed when payment of the exam fee is completed.
- Candidates are responsible for checking the schedule, venue, and notices for their exam; the Company is not liable where a candidate cannot sit the exam for their own reasons, such as failing to bring ID.
- The conduct, marking, and score calculation of exams, and the validity of scores, follow the rules of Cambridge University Press & Assessment, which administers the exams.
Article 11 (Payment of exam fees)
- Exam fees are set by the Company for each exam type and posted on the Site; candidates pay them through the payment methods the Company provides.
- Details of payment follow separate guidance provided by the Company.
Article 12 (Refunds and cancellation)
- Candidates may cancel a registration and receive a refund of the exam fee in accordance with the refund policy set by the Company.
- Refund criteria, procedures, and other details follow the refund policy on the Site (/info/refund-policy).
- Consumer rights under relevant laws, such as withdrawal of subscription, apply in priority to these terms.
Article 13 (Protection of personal data)
The Company protects users' personal data collected to provide the Services in accordance with relevant laws and its privacy policy. Details of personal data processing follow the privacy policy (/policy/privacy).
Article 14 (Disclaimer)
- The Company is not liable for damage arising from reasons beyond its control, such as force majeure or the user's fault.
- The Company limits its liability, to the extent permitted by relevant laws, for damage arising from information the user obtains through the Services.
- The scope of recognition and validity of exam scores and results follow the policies of Cambridge, which administers each exam, and of the institutions that use the scores.
Article 15 (Dispute resolution and governing law)
- These terms are interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Korea, which is the governing law for disputes arising from use of the Services.
- Lawsuits over disputes between the Company and users are filed with the competent court under the procedures set by relevant laws.
Addendum
These terms take effect on 8 July 2026.
